Primarily designed as a factory-fitted device, the Side Fix Extended can also be used after-market provided the sashes can be removed for fitting. No visible screw holes make this a tamper-proof product. Suitable for egress windows.
For use primarily on Timber & Aluminium windows but can also be fitted to Vinyl and Fibreglass windows where suitable fixing is available.
These devices require a single action to operate, so fitting a pair is advised

Product Details
Angel Ventlocks® are Window Opening Control Devices (WOCDs) and were specifically developed to restrict the amount a sash window’s lower sash can open. Fitted and used properly, they can prevent your child from opening the sash far enough to fall through. They do not require a key to operate and are unique in the way they reset automatically when you close the window.

The Side Fix Extended Angel Ventlock® is fitted into the stiles of the top sash, one on either side. The units are single action, so fitting two ensures compliance with ASTM F2090-21. These products are primarily for factory-fit applications as access to the side of the sash is required to fix them in place.
- This product is suitable for timber, PVCu and Aluminium windows
- Successfully tested as critical components to: PAS 24:2016
- Complies with ASTM F2090-21
- Tested in accordance with BS EN 14351-1:2006 – Document below
- Fixing is through the side of the sash stile and into the unit
- Screws are not supplied as length is determined by your window section
- Each device requires 2 off Countersunk No.7 (3.9mm) drill point screws
- We recommend you fit strikeplates with this device (sold separately)

How Does Angel Ventlock® Work?
By restricting the opening of your double hung window. Angel Ventlock® allow you to open the window for ventilation whilst making it impossible for young children to open the window far enough to get out. For adults however, it is simple to open the window fully by following the steps below.
Once fitted the Sash will stop when opened to 100mm
Simply press to release (repeat on opposite side)
The window can be easily raised fully without a key
The arm automatically resets to original position once closed
